Hello everyone,
since yesterday we have been having a massive problem with installing the dishwasher with the associated parts. Because Behjälplig was not in stock, we had to install the kitchen without it and just placed the dishwasher there. Now we have some problems that we are not quite sure how to handle.
The description is important. I attached the feet of the bracket to the cabinets at position A according to the diagram (pages 7-10). So far so good. Then we attached the Ikea metal-look panel to the dishwasher door, also according to the instructions, starting with the hole above position A (page 30). Afterwards, I tried to hang the front and was quite disappointed. At first, the lower end could not be pushed into the plastic bracket (from page 10) because it was way too high. So in a panic I simply shifted the bracket on the panel down by 2 holes, basically to position C (page 30). Now you can somewhat hang the panel, but there is a large gap (about 2cm) visible at the top between the panel and the countertop. Also, the door can no longer be used properly since everything creaks and pulls. That doesn’t sound or feel right. Also annoying: the 13mm clearance (page 21) is never enough to fit the metal panel flush with the other base cabinets. Could it be that the instructions don’t even match the FYNDIG kitchen with the metal-look panel? What can be done?
In addition, the two base cabinets between which the dishwasher is installed seem to be slightly misaligned, so the two brackets do not line up properly, so I still have to see how to correct that.
