We would like to buy the quartz stone countertop, but now I have read on the internet that someone wrote that you first receive the kitchen and then someone comes to measure? That the whole process then drags on for weeks? Does anyone have experience with this?
The kitchen is assembled (no matter by whom), then the measuring service comes, then a custom countertop is ordered. The measurement costs €70.00, but is reimbursed by Ikea if the kitchen costs more than €1000.00.
If you have the kitchen assembled by IKEA, they install a provisional countertop, otherwise you cannot use your kitchen.
For further questions, the kitchen department will assist you.
