Yes, that is probably the case, that because of the low temperatures the system keeps shutting down.

If this becomes a matter for the boss, I don’t know yet if that will be good for us... The boss is actually a nonsense head whom we were persuaded by back then, he wasn’t very likeable to us from the beginning. But we thought that since he only does heat pumps and not just on the side, but exclusively. Also the founder of Waterkotte, from whom he apparently learned a lot. So we thought okay, at least he has technical knowledge of what he is doing.

Therefore, I’m going to the appointment initially with no expectations, because he will probably talk a lot again to talk his way out of it.

We also contacted Viessmann directly, they would also send a service technician, but only our building services company can order that, unfortunately we cannot.

I would also like an independent person to take a look at the system and the setup, to see if everything is correct. In the end, they’ll mess around there forever and maybe something is set up incorrectly.

I once worked in a car workshop and we were a competence center for East Germany. All Skoda dealerships that didn’t find the error themselves sent the cars to us. When a third party looks at something the first two didn’t see, that can sometimes be helpful...

So the cables are not lying directly bare against each other, only as shown in the pictures with some distance between them

I don't have it in my head, but with you all heating circuits are fully open and any existing bypass valve is closed? You don't have ERR, but is there enough flow occurring? That would explain the cycling anyway. And also check the hot water settings. 42 degrees is good for efficiency, with a switch-on temperature of 40 degrees and that all day long, but also a possible explanation for the cycling.

What would be a good hot water temperature? I think no one has changed it simply because at the beginning, when we moved in, we still made hot water using the heating rod. This was to keep the electricity costs low.

During the day there aren't actually that many cycles, rather at night.

The way you write it will probably be set up like that, I don't know about the flow-through but according to the technician, all values are okay.

Well, the boss is coming to take a look in a few days... Still annoying

So you have a heating circuit distributor. Just check how the Taccosetters are set and note the values. Then open everything fully. Do you have a bypass valve? Then close it completely right away.
Hot water can be charged twice a day. For example, in the morning and evening. Then it doesn’t need to be heated during the day. The exception is shift work or something like that.
Then calmly set it to 46 degrees and the reheating down to 40. This way, the heat pump doesn’t kick in every time you draw water.
But this does not solve the low brine temperature; it may just reduce the many cycles.

In my opinion, the question is: Does it cycle so much because of the low brine temperatures (shutting down due to error), or are the brine temperatures so low because it worked so much? Chicken or egg?
