I am not completely satisfied with the floor plan

On the ground floor, especially in the living room, the exit to the terrace is supposed to be blocked by a couch according to the plan. How do you watch TV from this position? Upstairs, the hallway is really strange, I have never seen it like this before, long, narrow entrances in the room, it feels like being in a labyrinth. The living/dining/kitchen area is also too small at 42 sqm. Upstairs, I would swap the bathroom with the guest room; 10 sqm is enough for a guest/office room, but I would prefer a larger bathroom for 3 children plus guests.

I don't like the floor plan at all, what kind of hallway on the upper floor is that supposed to be? Dark, narrow, and a pointless 2m long, narrow entrance to Child 1? On the ground floor, there is no pre-wall installation drawn in the guest WC, that will surely make it even tighter. The bathroom window is far too small in size. You can't put a wardrobe in the dressing room, and then you can't move in front of it anymore, there is no 70cm of space left, plus it is pitch dark. In the kitchen, windowsills seem to be planned everywhere, I would let the windows run directly into the countertop, that's much nicer and you have more workspace. Overall, I would plan it all anew, practically every standard floor plan from a house building company is better thought out than this design..

Best regards
Sabine

So girl,

Just write down everything else: pay attention to the pinned thread!

It doesn't matter the age of the architect, but what you want and the property you have.
Then proposals can be made as well.

Oh dear, which amateur architect came up with this? - this is botched from front to back. The hobby room: everything is crossed out, the client must be thinking completely differently than the planner assumed - were there no discussions? The pipe in the bathroom. And the narrow internal "width" of the garage: apparently just because someone lacked the brains to switch the garage from full clinker brick to slips. Even the slanted walls on the upper floor almost seem like they want to cross out the plan. Sitting down, six!

The "not quite satisfied" in the headline is probably to be understood the way the Queen meant "Not amused"

Maybe the person sitting on the couch wants to watch the other preparing food in the kitchen. Truly many strange things about this "plan". I hope this is just draft 1 and not just before the approval planning.

enough has been said about the floor plan.

If you want tips, start a new thread and provide all the information that according to is useful. Important: site plan and a few words from you.

Otherwise, you will still read pages here about how terrible the floor plan is, which is probably already clear by now.
