Which aspects need to be checked:
Point 1: If you lay it diagonally, the joints would be more visible. That is something you place value on.
Point 2: With the expansion joint, that would be the most sensible from a craftsmanship perspective.
Point 3: Again the appearance: with the direction you can influence the spatial effect. For example, make narrow rooms appear wider.
In smaller residential objects, the expansion joint can be closed with cork or epoxy resin. For this, we asked Heizi at our place. He saw no problem with the different heating circuits.
By the way: nice floor plan for a DH. Did the load-bearing wall between the hallway and living room have to be there or did you want it that way?
