Ah, I didn't see the short one. I meant the long ones. For the short one, I would also rather cut the tiles. It's like two rooms. Is a (sliding) door going in there?

I want to lay the tiles parallel to the central wall. So the longer side of the tile from left to right. The room should appear longer from left to right. Or is the idea wrong? No sliding door. I could also keep the small joint (approx. 2m) as it is.

So you want the room to look like a tube? Yes, then you should lay it parallel to the wall, which wouldn't be my recommendation, but everyone as they wish.

I am also considering stabilizing the upper and lower expansion joints with epoxy and fiberglass reinforcement, but even if I only take the middle (small) expansion joint into account, I have an area of 51.5m² without expansion joints. How can I still incorporate an expansion joint into the tile layout?

As an electrician, I also sometimes say:
- Electricity cannot fly...
- Either that or we cut open the wall...
- If it should look nicer, it will become really expensive...

But as my own craftsman, I want a nice solution that costs nothing and that I don’t have to repair every 2 years (every 10 years would be OK).

What does the wall, or the cutting into it now, have to do with it? I don't get it. Why do you want to lay it parallel to the wall? Because you might prefer the look of sitting in a narrow room that way, or because you think it is technically easier, or that tiling will be easier as a result?
