We have a socket that can be switched off by a light switch and is used for watching TV. All devices that need to be on for watching TV (TV, receiver, etc.) are connected to a multi-socket power strip, which is plugged into this switchable socket. So in the evening, there is no standby mode anymore.
Additionally, we have 4 more real sockets, of which 3? are currently not in use. A lamp is plugged into one.
Whether each game console needs its own socket should be questioned (I would question the number of game consoles in general).
And also whether 1 or 2 LAN sockets, 0 or 2 speakers... whoever likes to plan everything as a reserve is simply planning twice.
