Calcium silicate stone was the best decision for a good indoor climate, right?
To be completely honest, I have never noticed a difference in my previous properties (and I am now living in my fifth property – from buildings from the Gründerzeit era without any insulation to renovated old buildings from the 60s – with and without ETICS, as well as new builds in calcium silicate stone + ETICS or double-shell clinker).
We only chose calcium silicate stone because we wanted to have the facade executed both with 2DF clinker bricks (and cavity insulation) and ETICS. The stone fit best for that. Otherwise, frankly speaking, I couldn't care less which stone my house is built from. I consider a ventilation system mandatory anyway, and therefore you always have a good indoor climate.
The indoor climate was always the same. Well, almost; in the first property when I was in my early 20s, I didn't ventilate much. It was sometimes stuffy then .
