Thank you very much for the quick and clear answers. Except for 11ant. I came across your websites through the "Steinemantra," and can now spend a few evenings reading again. But it helps if you later want to understand what the architect is telling you and why he proposes this or that. Great forum here, and thanks again. Karl

Do I have to understand now why you first explicitly exclude me from thanking everyone, and then in the same breath acknowledge that you have found reading material on my page for several evenings?

: Sorry and thank you very much for following up. My statement "Except for 11ant" was meant ironically. I am very grateful for your contributions, not only here but also in many other places in the forum. They are always very factual and informative. And in my view, that also applies to your information as a construction guide. Forums like this thrive on people like you, and beginners like me benefit greatly from it. I hope I was able to clarify that now. Karl

I understood it as him explicitly not thanking you because he now has to spend so much time reading. It should rather be understood as a compliment.

I'm glad to hear that, and it seems a bit obvious that you have only recently registered here, but have already been one of the silent readers for quite a while before (how long ?)?

If you take 17.5 Kalksand + 20 insulation + 2 air gap, you end up at 51.5 Kalksandstone was the best decision for a good indoor climate, right?
