Hello everyone,
I am currently having some trouble imagining how the surveying works in a construction project. The plot has been purchased, the building permit is approved, and the offer from the shell constructor including earthworks is available. In the shell constructor's offer, there is the item "Prepare batter boards for the surveyor."
If I now hire a surveyor, they can only measure the future building once the earthworks are completed, right?
In other words, the shell constructor sets up the batter boards and the surveyor measures them in, correct?
That would also mean that if I hire the surveyor now, I cannot exactly tell them on which day they would need to be on the site to measure the batter boards because that depends entirely on the shell constructor.
Thanks in advance
