In my case, it does mean that. No pocket money, always working, even during summer holidays. That shapes you, you develop a healthy relationship with money and want to achieve more. Regarding your 2k 500k ratio, it’s actually 5k and no, apparently they can’t calculate, otherwise they wouldn’t be asking here? Maybe the OP needs arguments for his wife. And again, I am not here to cheer on reckless financing or slap anyone on the back but to question critically. Whoever can’t manage to save with such an income simply has to keep renting. Which isn’t negative either.

Not a single person here supported a Harakiri financing. I usually find your posts quite interesting, but when reading through the thread, I also thought that this went a bit too far. The OP didn’t respond to it, and I wouldn’t have either in his place, because he would have had to justify himself. The message to him was clear: good income, too little capital. And that’s simply where you can leave it. Even without him laying out his CV here.

By the way, I have 200,000 in equity at 32 years old. So I should really know how life works ...

Best regards

Self-saved or income or stock market? Then great. Through inheritance?

Only have debt

From when is it an xxxl house at an xxxl price? How many percent of the salary go into that, for example, so that one cannot afford a vacation or children?

No. But in my opinion, you see it too critically. Or rather, you generalize that it must always be due to excessive luxury living. Just pause for a moment before you start and imagine that there can be other reasons for it. However, these are reasons that not everyone here in front of you and countless other readers wants to lay out.
