You should feel comfortable there if you want to grow old there. Infrastructure should be available, social facilities and doctors.

If you expect to sell again in 10/20 years, the location should explicitly be sellable.

Yes, I do value that, it should be quiet and still everything easily accessible, I don't want a house right next to a train line, for example.

The garden is also important to me, I place a high value on that, but I already pay attention to all of that.

Only, you can't find the right thing at the moment. And all new builds are terraced houses without basements.

Actually, I would like to buy a semi-detached house as a new build, but if it’s something very cheap old building, then I am ready to invest and I can do most of the work myself, I am not lacking in that.

If the garden is so important to you, then why a semi-detached house where you live practically terrace to terrace with the neighbor?
