In timber "stud" construction, KfW40 is realized differently than in stone houses: the thermal insulation is integrated, and if it is to be made thicker besides different, then thicker "studs" are used, but the wood remains the same.
Sure, which is why here mainly the stud fans :rolleyes: talk about an uncomplicated undertaking. For example, we always planned with an installation layer. This was then simply quickly insulated as well and suddenly it was 20+6cm mineral wool plus 6cm plaster base = U-value 0.13. If we had planned only with 18cm studs and no installation layer (which would have been sufficient for KfW55), the additional costs would of course have been higher. Overall, I found the additional costs manageable and would therefore boldly include the KfW40 points when bidding for the plot.
