The expected slope to the garage can be managed by any car without problems. ;) In my opinion, the paver doesn't care whether there is a 2% or 5% gradient.

Well, the slope would be about 19% for us. So 1.8m height difference over 9.5m to the garage. Or am I mistaken?

I'll take a look at the rest in a moment. First of all: 19% is quite steep just by the numbers (if still current) that's correct, or it will get even more tricky. You would have to flatten the beginning and the end of the slope so that the car (depending on the type) does not bottom out. Consequence: the rest would get even steeper. And over 20% slope (which you would probably reach here due to the flattening at the beginning and end) is really tricky. With snow and ice that becomes unpleasant. I would take a look at it live (somewhere where there are corresponding slopes) and see how well one can manage it personally. And keep in mind: with snow and ice it might be that you can’t get up there well. (I used to live near the Sauerland. There were several such slopes. With an underpowered small car one could only get up such slopes in snow if I had momentum. Starting on the slope or creeping up slowly was not possible. Since I don’t live there anymore, I haven’t been able to test it with a normal car yet.) Is this height difference still current according to the latest plans? Even if you plan the house and garage a bit lower here (if possible/feasible), that would already flatten the incline significantly.

Yes, I have seen it nearby with us and it is indeed not optimal. They put a heating system in the driveway and still it is not optimal, simply because of the sheer incline—regardless of summer or winter.
Our consideration is also to have it checked thoroughly again by the planner and then, if necessary, to set everything a bit lower. I think that 20-40 cm would already help. But it is always the conflict with the terrace behind the house and the transition to the garden.

Thank you for your feedback.

Here again are the heights from the plan.

In my opinion, it is 1.5 m by 15 m, that is 10%. That is still acceptable.
