Hello,
I live in a semi-detached house on a property with ideal division (4 parties), i.e. formally we are a condominium owners' association. In practice and according to the division declaration, everyone brews their own beer (everyone has their own garden with exclusive right of use), but there is a shared driveway which must also be jointly maintained and secured by all.
Do we therefore need a homeowners' and landowners' liability insurance as a condominium owners' association, or is private liability insurance sufficient for each person, which also covers liability for an owner-occupied property? Possible scenarios I see are, for example, the postman slipping on the shared driveway or on the public sidewalk next to the property (which must also be secured by the owners, i.e. gritted, snow shoveling, etc.).
