I find the placement of the house questionable in the first place: You write further to the right, but it is "left", so somehow NW magnetically oriented. The street is to the west, isn't it? As a retirement home, I would pay attention to freedom of movement, also in the yard or access, so everything should be approached a bit more spaciously.

Basically, I like the project! For the age, however, I personally would not want to do without a bathtub (I cannot recognize any).

Especially for the elderly, struggling into the bathtub is the biggest obstacle. In my grandparents' rental apartment, the bathtub was specifically removed and a shower installed.

I never said he should forgo the shower. The elderly people I know certainly like to bathe very much. Ultimately, the builder can, should, and must decide; it was just a remark. And of course, the market also offers bathtubs with appropriate entry.

I think the OP knows better whether bathing is even an option for her. If we didn't have a child, we probably wouldn't have needed a bathtub either.

I don’t feel addressed at all now :p
But I like bathing a lot, my husband even more, so the question about the tub was irrelevant to us without children.

However, one should consider that in old age people like to take or have to take medical baths.
But OP is at an age where he knows how he ticks.
If he were 20+, I would suggest considering that preferences and habits can change.
