Hello Freddy,

I have asked myself similar questions and actually only see the generator as a sensible solution.

Either you take a small device in the < 1000 watt class with a "socket." That is enough for the heating. Or you take a three-phase diesel generator with >6 kW, then the stove also works. I decided on the latter and had a switch (grid - generator) installed behind the meter during the new construction.

How often and for how long do you have power outages that you go to such effort? How often do you run the generator so that it works when it really counts?

Haha Italians and their ideas. I’m not taking care of the heating. With max 10kw and a high inrush current that might occur, good luck. But, I actually have a UPS on the turtle refrigerator

Good morning

Yes, that is correct. I just wanted to point out the theoretical possibility.

Otherwise, only the emergency power generator is a viable solution.

It is not about assessing the network stability in the past, but about the possibility of being autonomous for a few days in the event of a major blackout.
