Good morning everyone,
thank you for the advice and ideas so far.

I saw the big SHT stove, it costs about 12k and it has the option to be used like a pure wood stove when there is no electricity.
Basically, my main concern was just to have a stove in the house without an additional chimney.
That’s why my question was about a hybrid stove like the SHT but not in this 15kw version.

Then first talk to the chimney sweep. He can help determine what is even possible. He also has to approve it.

If I understood correctly, your heating is in the basement. Or do you want to put it in the living area then?

Talk about your project first with a stove seller, they are interested in selling their stuff and don't reject everything categorically. Then with your district chimney sweep, depending on your chimney and air supply diameter, it is for example possible to connect several stoves to one chimney. And afterwards with different installation companies, they only want to see orders, but can also convey a few new ideas.

Even hybrids need electricity, without a chimney you can't even heat with coal/wood. It would be like software trying to work without hardware.

Well, that's probably more of a myth in Germany... I can tell that the power goes out for seconds based on the heating system errors. Before the update, it also broke down 2–3 times even though the power was back. I had to shut it down once; after the update, it no longer crashes. The question is how a heating system would handle such a blackout—I think everyone will have other worries than turning on the heating.
