hello,

at our new building site the underfloor heating is currently being installed and I noticed this kink.

you can feel a narrowing when you run your hand over it.

The architect and heating company of course say that this is okay,
but what do you think? For me, it is not okay.

Edit: some info about the heating pipe, empur klimapex pe-rt 17x2 is being installed.

Thank you very much in advance

Regards

With the 3 loops, the lower 2 have a slight kink in them

Well, of course, it is a matter of interpretation... it's not nice and it will slightly affect the performance of the pumps, meaning the water will flow slower at that point and therefore the pump will need more pressure to keep the volume flow constant, but it's up to you to explain that to the architect or plumber.

above all, they installed it completely incorrectly, which is why this issue arose in the first place, the architect and heating engineer are aware, but for them everything is of course fine, could a building expert or appraiser help there?

To be continued, they definitely do not know what they are doing there. Make an appointment with the expert.

And regarding the pipe, what is wrong with the pipe?
What does not airtight mean? Could someone please enlighten me.

Thank you
