They also have to continuously provide cloud, updates, and so on.

From tomorrow it will get colder, what can I change so that the heat pump does not cycle so often even at 12 degrees plus? Higher flow temperature? Increase room set temperature? Increase cycle lockout? Or simply set fixed times for heating?

Just stay relaxed. At these outside temperatures, it takes a few days for the house to cool down somewhat so that the heat pump can get reasonable cycles. Depending on the heat pump, you can't do much special. I don't even know cycle lockout on mine, for example. However, I still have 22.5 degrees in the house without heating. So I keep the heat pump completely off at least until mid next week.

Hello, since yesterday noon I switched the heat pump to heating, the heat pump cycles very frequently, see attachment. I set the rest mode from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM at 75 percent. Target temperature 21 degrees at night, frost protection at 3 degrees, one defrost cycle. Heat pump runs for about 35 minutes then about 30 minutes pause. All radiators are open. There is definitely room for improvement regarding the cycling, does anyone have tips?

Why my posts with important notes and questions were immediately deleted, of course, no one will explain. Questions to the OP: Why set so warm? Is it an existing system and was the heat pump retrofitted? I find the cycle duration just about okay, it is rather strange that it starts up again so quickly. Do you find a point with hysteresis?

Just reading these setting options like "rest mode 75%" makes me feel sick. Why do most heat pumps come with such stupid regulations (Vaillant thread with 529 pages is also incredible).
Sorry, I can't help you there. My heat pump doesn't have such settings. Pana is much simpler without such pointless options.

BUT: With the weather outside and your still existing indoor temperature, you have the problem that the heat pump is still simply producing too much heat. Conversely, the house just hasn’t cooled down enough yet. And with maybe good heat gain through windows, it will take even longer until the heat pump runs smoothly. The still relatively mild daytime temperatures don’t help either.
Just let the heat pump run from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and not during the rest of the time.
