It's like retreating to your electronics basement and building a circuit board + writing your own appropriate scripts to fine-tune the ignition timing, injection quantities, etc. on your brand-new car so that it runs more efficiently than the factory settings. Of course, you can do that and it's definitely a cool hobby, but it doesn't really help if the fine adjustments neither save you money nor lead to a longer lifespan. I'd rather stick to good planning and then drive a well-tuned automatic for the next 20 years ;-) (and Pana can actually do that really well)

Update: I turned on the heat pump yesterday evening around 10 p.m. because it had already gotten quite cold outside in the previous days and the house was only 20 degrees inside. The Pana has run exactly two cycles since then. 3.5 hours and 2.5 hours.

Just under 21 degrees - overall feels better at the feet.

You speak from my heart. I in AUS can also buy German heat pumps. I was shocked by the operating manuals, millions of settings. I don’t want to earn a diploma in heat pumps. That was the sole reason why I didn’t buy a German product. And the forum is a confirmation of the overwhelm of the pump owners. We have an Asian device which is the most purchased here. The company runs a blog and questions are more or less answered immediately 24/7, a 1A service. The company we bought from also answers questions on Sundays (family business). If I wanted the top class, I would buy a Japanese device here.
