In my opinion, that's too much of a good thing; 5 inspections are enough. Specifically for the trades where nothing can be changed later on
Personally, that would have been too few for me, but we've already had this discussion. We felt good about it, so that counts for us.
For us, there were 8 or 9 inspections, including lengthy documentation sometimes with pictures. In between, our construction supervisor was also regularly on site checking things. It was positive that he only had a 5 km distance to travel and that he had several construction sites in the development area.
Interestingly, we found our construction supervisor through another construction company where we had requested a quote. We mentioned that we wanted to bring in a construction supervisor. He recommended our construction supervisor, who had just had an article in a regional construction magazine. He described him as a "tough guy" with constructive suggestions. Our banker also knew him and recommended him to us as well.
That’s exactly how he was. He preferred to say right away what the craftsmen needed to pay attention to rather than having things rebuilt afterward.
That was well received by almost all craftsmen. Only our plasterers had to redo work and dismantle things multiple times.
