Hanging pictures in the house - options?

Pictures hang on the walls to decorate the nails.

Then I guess the rail system is the only option. However, you have the "strings" visible on the wall and the rails need to be fixed. I saw it recently. Maybe you get used to it.

36 and 29. Yes, the sword is quite big and especially quite heavy. It is already old; I made it when I was around 16-17, I think. Back then it was for a costume. The blade was made of wood by a carpenter friend, and my father turned the sword hilt out of metal on the lathe. For that reason alone, I would never give it away, since it is a nice memory of my father. Back then, I could even take the piece to "Animagic". Nowadays that would no longer be conceivable; wooden/metal weapons have long been taboo at such events (and rightly so). Here are some pictures of the pieces – although I should properly paint mine using today’s methods. I will still do that sometime. :D
