The individual components must be calculated, even if it is a renovation and individual measure. As perimeter insulation ([Spitzwasserbereich]) no EPS should have approval as insulation. The energy consultant must check the approval of the insulation materials. In the case of a new building or [KfW Haus], it would be completely pointless, the DIN does not exist for nothing.

Probably a different material is used in the perimeter area. I didn't pay attention to that in my text because, in my opinion, it is not important for our problem.

Why does he have to calculate the individual components? We apply a flat-rate thermal bridge. That is sufficient for KfW70 and is cheaper for us than a thermal bridge verification. Or do you mean something else?
