It actually comes from the raw material, which can be red, yellow, white, gray, up to brown/black, after it has been fired. The inexpensive option is then painting/glazing/engaging.
Since the other light gray bricks ultimately didn’t appeal to our taste and we were convinced by the structure of the Wienerberger, we switched to a different light color but stayed with the same manufacturer.
Thank you very much for this hint, that of course sounds less pleasant  How long has your neighbor had the clinker installed? I didn’t explicitly choose the clinker because it is so cheap (honestly, I haven’t researched that yet), but because I like the coloring and because it is not a ceramic clinker. Unfortunately, it’s not just about the 30€ per sqm, but also about the additional labor costs. Overall, I was told that using the Aarhus would mean at least an additional cost of 12,000 EUR. Don’t get me wrong. I am aware that especially good often means especially expensive. And in the end, I have to decide myself "which death I die." But since I still have some time before the decision has to be made, I can happily continue searching. Other possible candidates are the Vandersanden facing bricks Rega or Rainbow silver.
