Hello,
after we slowly wanted to design our garden, I noticed how everywhere right at the fence (chain link/stake mat) to the neighbors, grass that cannot be mowed away grows tall at the bottom. Overall, it doesn’t look very attractive. The lawnmower always leaves a few centimeters of grass strip at the fence. Even a trimmer doesn’t manage to cut all the blades of grass.
How did you solve it? Or do you just let the grass/weeds grow? There are probably garden owners who place edging stones or paving stones directly at the fence edge. But of course, that could only be done directly at the fence on one’s property boundary. And our garden is unfortunately quite uneven (see photo), so we couldn’t put edging stones, it would probably look very unstructured with the uneven lawn area.
