By the way, why didn’t you simply paint over with glue paint? That works, after all.
Most of the glue paint is still on the ceiling, except for a few square meters where the glue paint was scraped off together with the plaster.
Your question must be seriously considered: why not simply paint over the glue paint?
The glue paint could be advantageous for the flat roof (wooden paneling) due to its vapor permeability.
Question:
1 - As far as the 55-year-old coating is really glue paint, then I could simply paint over it without pretreatment, right?
2 - With what do I restore the plaster substrate, respectively even out the scratches left in the plaster? Any plaster, or does it have to be a specific type? Presumably, it would be ideal if the plaster also forms a white base.
3 - There is also clay paint; a paint identification by the specialist dealer is not possible due to corona. What would be the difference in procedure if it were clay paint? How likely is it that it is clay paint?
