Hmm, the expensive little remedy that dissolves [Leimfarbe] is called water. Hardly any paint is as non-waterproof as old-fashioned [Leimfarbe]. Compared to that, [Alpinaweiss] is an underwater paint.

The magic little remedy is supposed to cost just under 200€, enough for about 70 sqm

A layman's question about construction:

what motivated people 55 years ago to apply the white plaster between the render and the white glue paint...?

They do that to this day. That is filler to get a smooth ceiling. All ceilings are filled. Walls too.

Most of the glue paint is still on the ceiling, except for a few square meters where the glue paint was scraped off together with the plaster.

Your question must be seriously considered: why not simply paint over the glue paint?
The glue paint could be advantageous for the flat roof (wooden paneling) due to its vapor permeability.

Question:

1 - As far as the 55-year-old coating is really glue paint, then I could simply paint over it without pretreatment, right?

2 - With what do I restore the plaster substrate, respectively even out the scratches left in the plaster? Any plaster, or does it have to be a specific type? Presumably, it would be ideal if the plaster also forms a white base.

3 - There is also clay paint; a paint identification by the specialist dealer is not possible due to corona. What would be the difference in procedure if it were clay paint? How likely is it that it is clay paint?

Glue-colored paints can be recognized by the rub test, a damp sponge dissolves the coating. But it could be that clay reacts the same way. No idea how to distinguish that. The gypsum is simply filler. Knauf rotband. Sto levell in fill. For example.
