Interior plaster gypsum or lime

Have read again. In the thread "Welchen Glattputz für Innen" you referred to gypsum plaster as waste and said gypsum has no place in construction. Therefore my question is whether you still hold this opinion and why or why not anymore? Since you have not argued this way here anymore, that's why I am asking.

Yes, plaster on walls and also on the floor no longer belongs there in my opinion (due to problems with moisture). However, I would not impose this opinion on anyone...

And that gypsum today usually comes from flue gas desulfurization plants was not a reason for you to decide against gypsum or did that also play a role?

We have lime cement. It looks extremely smooth and is supposed to be painted directly with silicate paint. However, it was already quite a bit more expensive (I think that was also because it was a different company - quality sometimes really does cost more) - in my opinion, it was definitely worth it anyway.

Extremely smooth? Was a top coat applied?
