Hello,
It would be nice if at least the moderators didn’t just throw scraps to newbies.
That’s a good point – I also find it helpful if newbies would use the search function; the topic "water-bearing fireplace" is often, in my opinion, exhaustively discussed.
An air-water heat pump is already a huge expense in terms of acquisition, especially since our terrain is very terraced and difficult, and electricity prices are currently exploding because there are hardly any/no heat pump tariffs anymore.
An air-water heat pump does not cost more or less than common gas condensing technology including solar domestic hot water heating and has little to nothing to do with your terrain.
As far as I know, the heat pump tariff still exists nationwide in Germany; there aren’t that many electricity producers and they are still sticking to this pricing model. And if you already use the search function, then also look for threads with air-water heat pumps, then you will quickly come to the conclusion that such a unit requires less than 0,x of electricity per year. The argument that an air-water heat pump heats using electricity thus does not hold.
In your reply to €uro – #3 – you show that you are not willing to address his arguments; €uro works full time with systems for heat generation in single-family houses. You retreat to the point that you can get the devices of one supplier cheaper through your contact. What if the configurations offered by them are not transferable to the requirements of your construction project? For better understanding: I still get spare parts for an Italian vehicle cheaper than many others today. That is of no use to me at all if a German car is parked in my parking space.
All in all, it reads as if you have a cemented opinion about "your" future heating technology. If – as expressed by €uro or me – doubts about its sensefulness are voiced, you apparently do not want to hear them. So why do you even ask? Just go through with the thing with your contact and that’s that...
Rhenish greetings
