Does anyone have experience with garages that have a door at the front and back? Is that an upgrade that a regular concrete garage manufacturer would also do, and what does something like that cost?
The background is that I have a larger trailer (6.20m long) that I wanted to park behind the garage. For that, we wanted to build a prefabricated garage with an attached carport so that the trailer can be pushed through the carport. The problem is that there is simply a bit too little space to swing in with a vehicle of this size to get into the carport (i.e., the neighbor must not build a fence), and going out the back past the house might work, but it’s not really ideal.
The simplest solution would, of course, be to build a carport and just drive through, which would also be the cheapest solution. But actually, I wanted a proper garage where snow doesn’t blow in and rain doesn’t fall in sideways, and where no marten can attack the car. That’s why the idea of simply installing a door at the back as well came up; since it would be used less often, it can also be manual.
