Hm, the bathroom is interior, but of course well-lit. It definitely doesn't look dark. Not so easy to capture in photos, especially since I can't get a good distance to the subject.

The shrine, it used to house Madonnas and patron saints, today deodorant. So where does grandpa's urn go now :D ;)

That is a HomePod Mini, so Siri.

We bought the house ( built in 2005 ) and only renovated it. This included making the lighting, blinds, and heating thermostats digitally controllable and then centralizing them via Siri.
When we leave the house ( or rather, our phones, which we always have with us ) the pods turn off.
