Thank you, I am particularly pleased because the tiles here in the forum were also "properly" ;-) criticized. They are from the company Steuler and are called Brush. When we bought them, they were available in yellow, blue, May green, and olive green. We chose May green. In the brochures, May green, May green Brush (with Brush the colors run, similar to watercolor paintings) and white are often combined.

We wanted colorful tiles in the bathrooms because we need a little cheer in the morning. ;-)

I totally feel that, as people might say nowadays. We also brought color into the bathroom with the shower wall tiles, even multicolor. The conservatives in the family find it overly bold, but we are happy every time so far. Pictura Realmonte Soft by Naxos. I also think the green tiles are cool.

Bold fits quite well :D But your tiles really have something special too. Doesn’t it look too dark on larger surfaces? Or do you have a lot of light in the bathroom?

I would rather go for Faber Canosa... That’s also going on the list. I have a bathroom and a guest WC, they can definitely look different :cool:

Anyway, to relate back to the topic - we will have built-up walls everywhere on the sanitary installations. That doesn’t bother us at all - quite the opposite. Useful shelf space, no problems finding a good transition between tile/no tile, and I like that the wall doesn’t go down so smoothly but has a protrusion. But I’m rather old-fashioned, as has been attested to me here :D

Hmm, the bathroom is interior, but of course well lit. It definitely doesn’t look dark. Not so easy to capture in photos, especially since I can’t get a good distance to the subject.
