Front door, manufacturer?, affordable

let's put it this way: With the door manufacturer, you don't really know what they're installing either... and our future neighbors have a door with fingerprint (I even think from Hörmann) and according to them they have to regularly re-enroll the fingerprints and in winter with ice-cold hands it doesn’t work at all.

And regarding security... yes, there may be secure ones. But it still concerns me a lot that such systems are currently absolutely not allowed in security-relevant areas like airports... for access restrictions we still install nice cylinder locks... So far nobody wants to touch such a thing with bolt cutters after our own people managed to overcome them not too long ago. Although that was admittedly 3 years ago, so things may have changed since then.

As I said, install something decent, then you won't have these problems. And yes, that costs a penny...

We have had our Biffartür for 10 years and are really very satisfied with it. It is very heavy, you get the feeling of closing a thick safe door. We have never had to adjust anything and it always closes easily. We would buy it again anytime.

We had the same impression with the Biffar door that we looked at. May I ask what you paid for the door ? Maybe with the dimensions, so I can estimate better. Today I also heard about Klauke aluminum doors. I don’t have a clear idea of the quality regarding Weru. Has anyone had experience with either of the two manufacturers? Best regards Kailies

Hello, the door was already purchased in 2001 and the door including the frame is 110 cm wide. It is consistently 8.5 cm thick and made of aluminum. It cost about 10,000 DM back then. Best regards Sabine

Biffar indeed probably has its price for the quality.

We have now received a very interesting offer for an RC2 door from Weru. Unfortunately, I find little information about Weru front doors regarding quality. Therefore, I wanted to push here again and ask if anyone can share their experiences with Weru?
