I believe in the last >40 posts there was enough information to make this 160€ decision for yourself now. Or is something still missing?

Do you want to vote now, or make a decision that significantly changes your further life path? You have had enough arguments now, decide for your family

I simply took the lock because a door that is always locked offers more security than one that, in my opinion, can be locked in ten different ways but still has to be operated manually.

The little over 100€ didn't really stand out, since the door panel was many times more expensive. However, this is not to say that we just threw the money away; no, every time it was calculated with a fine-tooth comb.

In our rented single-family house, we only have a normal bolt with a reinforced corner strike plate. That has already stopped a break-in attempt.. 3 will probably be enough.

What security class do the windows on the ground floor have?

But the smallest decisions are the hardest. We are just doing bikeshedding here right now anyway.

After I googled the newfangled word, I can agree. Isn't it nice when you can think so much about such things? I can spend weeks considering which wall lamp to buy or the bulbs in 2 or 2.6 watts. Then the stress begins with lumens and whatever else there is. :D Correct, one should always be aware of that and categorize it appropriately. So, no more time, I have to choose bed linen... that really takes a long time...
