Just came across this through an article and couldn’t find anything about it here yet. I think it could be quite interesting for some people with an (older) existing property. I’ll copy some information from the BAFA website here. Those who are interested should check the details directly on their homepage.
We had an energy consultant visit us once who recommended a hydraulic balancing.
From the BAFA website:

Heating optimization
From August 1, 2016, the replacement of heating pumps and domestic hot water circulation pumps with highly efficient pumps as well as the hydraulic balancing of the heating system are subsidized. The basis is the guideline on the promotion of heating optimization through highly efficient pumps and hydraulic balancing.
What is subsidized?
Investments in the following cases can be subsidized:
What is not subsidized?
How is the subsidy granted?
The subsidy is provided as a non-repayable grant, which is transferred to the applicant after implementation of the measures and submission of the complete application documents.
How much is the subsidy?
The subsidy amounts to up to 30% of the net investment costs for services both in connection with the replacement of heating circulation pumps and domestic hot water circulation pumps with highly efficient pumps and in connection with hydraulic balancing, but no more than 25,000 euros.
How do I apply?
Application must be made online in two steps.
