Everything is correct, but the main problem of this client is the quality and not the adherence to deadlines.

Unfortunately, it is both: Certainly, quality is the main problem, but since after now 5 months there is only a defective ground floor without ceiling (without basement), the adherence to deadlines can no longer be neglected either (the floor ceiling is entering the 8th week after the original announcement) For your information: there are supposed to be two appointments tomorrow: 1x with the general contractor and then with the construction company

Unfortunately, the issue will probably no longer be resolved:

The construction company has been insolvent since Friday...

Your contracting party or their subcontractor? Are you still being legally advised?

No, only the contracting party is insolvent - as for the subcontractor, I don't know - he has already offered to continue the construction later - however, I actually don't want that (because of the many defects). Yes, our construction law attorney most recently set them a deadline to remedy the defects, which expires on Monday. In the meantime, his colleague (from the same firm) has become involved as an expert in insolvency law and is in contact with the insolvency administrator.

We are just glad that we withheld the last partial payment due to the defects. In the meantime, even more defects have appeared...

Had you already made advance payments, financially?
