Friends of mine have put KlickKork in their kitchen and have two cats.

...-> After 1 year, the cork looks totally scratched and not nice at all anymore. I would definitely not recommend it.

I would just have some samples of the vinyl sent to me and then chase the dog over the samples several times a day :-)

Sebastian, I’m not sure if it was industrial vinyl, the brand was from Objektflor, exponia domestik.

For us, it was just off-putting because you could see every flaw against the light.
Well, even at our workplace where industrial vinyl is installed, you can see scratches after 5 years.

Best regards, Tina

Alright, then everything will get scratched but not tiles/natural stone, although there are also gradients in sensitivity there.

And the dog just runs over it but does not scratch the floor. If a dog digs wildly there, it will surely suffer at some point - but even tiles will eventually get scratches then.

Since dogs cannot retract their claws, they always scratch a bit. At my parents' place, you can see not only the dog's walking paths but also their favorite resting spots in almost every material except tiles and marble.

I can relate well with two dogs :). We had cork flooring, which gets scratched easily. We had lacquered (very expensive) parquet, which also gets scratched, and due to the lacquer finish, the scratches are very noticeable. Now we have oiled solid wood parquet, which of course also gets scratched, but the scratches are not as visible because of the matte surface. If we build again, only tiles will be considered for the dog area, everything else quickly starts to look worn out.

Best regards
Sabine

With wood it's normal, but with vinyl nothing gets scratched during normal walking...
