We were at the building materials supplier (not a hardware store) last week and looked at the floors there. Actually, we agreed quite quickly on the design. The advisor recommended a design floor from Haro that can be fully glued down -> necessary because of the kitchen area.
Now we just have concerns about durability. The floor has a rating in the usage class of 23/32, which indicates rather moderate use. Alternatively, there is a vinyl from ter Hürne with 23/33.
However, we actually prefer the design floor because it lacks plasticizers.
At the moment, we have a ter Hürne parquet floor in the living/dining room, and in the areas where the chairs are, you can already see significant signs of wear as well as some scratches caused by dog and child. Although this apparently also has usage class 23/32. Unfortunately, ter Hürne no longer has it in their range, and I do not know what kind of wear layer it has.
