So our tiles are pleasantly lukewarm, that's how I would describe them, definitely warmer than my feet. Feet on the outside are also not 37 degrees warm but cooler, at least typical women's feet. Tile floor with normal radiators is significantly cooler in winter than with underfloor heating, I can't walk without slippers there.

If the tiles feel pleasantly warm in winter, then the heating is definitely not up to current standards and/or is running inefficiently, but rather is either poorly designed or poorly adjusted, or it is an old building that requires significantly higher flow temperatures. With the typical flow temperatures of 25-30 degrees in new builds, tiles feel cold or cool (unless you are a vampire with a body temperature close to zero).

Durability of parquet: Always depends on the demands... If you can't live with scratches, then you should definitely avoid it, especially with children and/or pets. If you accept it or even find it nice to have a "living floor," it is not a problem. It is of course more maintenance-intensive because regular oiling is necessary to keep it looking good for a long time. If the floor no longer looks nice after 10-15 years... have it sanded down, re-oil it, and everything is like new. Even with "engineered parquet," you can usually sand it 2-3 times.

It would really be interesting now whether the tile-aren't-cold fans here all have underfloor heating with relatively high flow temperatures. Of course, it’s also a bit subjective, but in an old building the flow temperature is clearly higher than in new ones with around 30°.

I am also torn between parquet and vinyl with Blue Angel in the living area. You can also lacquer the parquet, then it is actually super easy to maintain and you have peace for as long as you simply decide to sand it down again (depending on preference 10-20 years?).

As already mentioned, with us a maximum lead of 30 degrees so far and the tiles are very pleasantly warm. 24/7

One can also varnish the parquet

My experience: varnished scratches quickly and you can't repair it like with oiled.
