I would only choose one variant or another if there is privacy protection or if you are sure it does not bother you. In our housing estate, 80% of the floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with a pleated blind at the bottom. Of course, a pleated blind lets in more light than a wall, but we don't find it really sensible. If a desk or similar is supposed to be in front of the window, all the cables tend to hang in front of the window, since the sockets can only be on the side. Just a few food for thought

I have the two-part version. Cleaning is indeed annoying, I need some kind of "extension" because my arm can't reach all the way down, and the result isn't perfect either. I have actually walked around the house with a ladder to clean the window sills and the lower corners of the glass. But I only do that maybe 3-4 times a year. However, it has the advantage that the fall protection is already integrated. In the house where I used to live, the safety was "forgotten" in the planning. It went down two floors in some places. With the children, a retrofit solution was added, which I always found annoying. They didn't want to touch the facade anymore, so it ended up in the window frames. I would never have done it that way. Variant A is probably somewhat more expensive. If that doesn’t matter, I would recommend it. It goes without saying that it must be planned from the beginning. Variant B also works, especially if you have to pinch your pennies.

... however, this then urges for closed cabinets because of the air movement.
