But you see that a rectangle is not boring
yes, that’s true of course. Still – with a rural, traditionally inspired house like ours, there unfortunately aren’t many options left :-( meaning no fancy window elements and so on ... Balcony is
The corner really fits well
Take a look at Regnauer
Space isn’t everything.
Toys shouldn’t go into the living room. Up to 3 children play in that area
You come in with the shopping basket and run into the block tower
You want to set the table outside and have to walk through the train tracks
Then you want to get the empty glasses from the living room and bump against the children’s kitchen.
Do you understand what YPG means?
yes, I know what you are getting at. Now I see it this way: toys "are allowed" to go into the living room sometimes and especially small children are always where mom is. I already have an 8-month-old son and when I cook he is always right next to me on the floor and that won’t change when he becomes more mobile, he MUST stay near me (demarcated). Older children can also be told where they are allowed to play. Childhood years are chaos years anyway somehow. What I want to say is, I have clearly less space now and it still works. I know others with (much worse) living conditions and it still works. I find the space good for playpens and such. And if I may mention one thing completely off topic: I’m not a fan of the nowadays common cheap plastic children’s toys - don’t even know what else I should still play with - accumulation. Sure, toys no question, but some living rooms really look like half a toy store is set up. That doesn’t have to be.
