The result is probably overstated. The house doesn’t look like a new build. It doesn’t look like it’s made in one piece. It looks as if a 60s house for a large family has been fitted with dormers. Dormers are nowadays a popular means to equip too-small settlement houses with standing space under the roof. Then there’s the oversized garage extension...
The dormers are, of course, always somewhat of a compromise. According to the development plan, 1+attic floor is allowed. A knee wall limited to 80cm. So there aren’t that many options for the attic floor. Suggestions welcome.
The garage houses various things. On the one hand, one of the cars is relatively large. It should have enough space to fit and still leave enough space for a second one.
In addition, space is needed for garden tools, bicycles, children’s things, roof box, ..., ..., ... Currently, we live in a house with a similarly sized garage. Unfortunately, it is very well filled. That’s why we love a big garage.
