Dormers are nowadays a popular means to equip too-small settlement houses with standing space under the roof. Then there’s the oversized garage extension...

The dormers are, of course, always somewhat of a compromise. According to the development plan, 1+attic floor is allowed. A knee wall limited to 80cm. So there aren’t that many options for the attic floor. Suggestions welcome.

Maybe it’s worth planning again in single-story according to current needs. You should ask yourself whether you currently need about 250 sqm with your family or want to pay for it. Especially since the single-family house character is totally lost.
