It is neither your nor our task to optimize the design. The observed shortcomings are communicated to the architect. This is also not about a little wall shift. If the criticism is considered justified, there will be a new design. Especially if the plan is to make a trapped room accessible from the hallway. Overall, this requires some brainpower, for which the architect rightfully receives a very good fee.
