House design
Who did the planning: planner from a construction company
What do you especially like? Why? Large children's rooms
What do you not like? Why? Office on ground floor will later become bedroom, office in basement
Price estimate according to architect/planner: 430K + around 100K additional costs
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: 430K
Preferred heating technology: air-water heat pump

If you have to do without, which details/extensions
- can you do without: fireplace
- can you not do without: storage room on ground floor, office

Why did the design turn out as it is now?
Standard design from the planner? Close adherence to production house (walls partly not moveable)
What makes it particularly good or bad in your eyes? very pragmatic/efficient, maximum area for living room, 3 equally sized children's rooms on upper floor. Maximum use of living space of the house with very restrictive development plan.

What is the most important/basic question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?
1. Are there any no-gos, things we might have overlooked?
2. How can we accommodate another office through modifications on the ground floor (upper floor)?
3. The hallway is quite small - problem?

Additionally: What is called "guest" on the ground floor is actually the office or the adults' bedroom. This was entered incorrectly. If it is the office, then the bedroom would have to be in the basement, which theoretically is no problem thanks to the underfloor heating. But the basement has only one light well per room. So hardly any light. -> This is our main problem with the floor plan. Thank you for your trained eye over the floor plan. The planning of the final floor plan should be completed by mid-March.

Where is the driveway?? 3 children, 2 children's rooms, ... maybe you could write something about that? That probably doesn't make sense to anyone. Also the ages of the children please, if one doesn't get a room at all.

But there are 3 rooms upstairs. The parents' bedroom and office are supposed to be on the ground floor and in the basement.

Thanks for asking. I had forgotten to write that instead of "Sleeping" above, it should actually say "Child 3." Great that you are paying such close attention!

This combination results in a tower-high roof. In my opinion, the no-go consists in the lackluster planning - was the conversation like that as well, i.e. did you signal too little serious interest? (if you have nothing to "blame" yourselves for in this regard, I would send the provider packing).
