2. 80sqm basement of basement quality: €120,000

... but the back-of-the-envelope calculation lacks the counter-calculation of the saved alternative. Basement costs are only without offset if it is sunk into a flat plot. Continuing the back-of-the-envelope calculation, thus taking the assumption of €25k basement cost share for relocated usable space and €95k basement cost share for purposeless dance floor, we get almost 80% additional basement costs. According to the 11ant basement rule of thumb, a basement is worthwhile from a height difference of about 1.60m (which in the concrete case of the OP should be reached or exceeded, result thus: the plot votes "pro" basement.

No matter! Here you have to think in 3D whether to use the slope to build a basement plus one floor and then that’s it.
Not an extra floor that you call a cellar and don’t use, but the basement as living space and then a second one on top, which covers the remaining living space requirement.

From this perspective, we come closer to the truth: if you build a slab-on-grade house on a sloped lot (= thus do not use a basement to meet space requirements), then you waste the costs of slope modeling and control roughly equivalent to the price of a "cellar" to prop up the slab like with a jack. This, as (also stated here) proportionally with a breakeven at about 2m height difference.
