7x7 is not the garage, but the building plot for the garage or carport.

The planned width is 3.48 m.

According to Adam Riese:

East-West
Calculated from the east (for a width of 18 m)
1) 3.52 cm distance to the neighbor (the 4 m rule does not apply here, the garage could be attached directly)
This keeps the driveway to the property clear
2) then 3.48 m garage width
3) and 11 m free space in the west.

North-South: property 25 m,
from the north. 4 m distance to the neighbor
10 m house
11 m in the south on which the garage can be moved back and forth as desired (again no minimum distance to the street is necessary).

A picture is worth more than 1000 words ... and, it also makes sense to write everything in the opening post in time. Then you don’t have to search through everything again and again.

Hm, I don't find the floor plan all that bad. However, I would move the entrance further south (e.g. where the storage room is on the ground floor, turn the stairs by 180° accordingly). Otherwise, the access would be quite far from the street. On the ground floor, there is still the possibility to use the shortcut through the garden door to the kitchen, but I would still find it better if the path to the "official" entrance is as short as possible. Since I have a similar configuration (access to the property from the south), I would be interested to know if there is something like a collection of ideas / sample proposals or similar, where one can get inspiration.
