Floor plan: Door planning living room + pantry

I cautiously suggest swapping the living room and kitchen and placing the door to the pantry on the long wall.

That’s why I also wrote, please the complete floor plan. But here, work is being "tinkered" with in a place where it already fails at 500€ or 1000€.

You can also reconsider whether the direct path to the pantry is that important. Everyone is capable of opening a door. In the worst case, you just make two trips because you can only carry something with one hand/arm. The pantry is close enough for that. I would definitely not want to block the hallway with such a door. A sliding door is even more cumbersome to open than a hinged door. Toward the pantry, that would be too inconvenient for me. I would probably stick to the original plan. That also doesn't cost anything extra. Show the rest of the floor plan. Then more can be said.

That is still the furnishing suggestion from the architect.

Then show how it actually looks. With your current "optimization," the pantry would be practically in/on the living room.
There are simply situations/floor plans where you cannot just move a door from A to B; that then requires further changes.
No input, no output – and vice versa.

Thank you very much for your constructive contribution :) We have meanwhile also come to the conclusion that the briefly considered alternative (red sketch) will not work. We have now found another solution that we like even more. Thanks anyway for the input!
