How is the driveway to the garage planned? If I interpret the site plan correctly, you would have to reverse from the lower street into the yard in order to drive forward into the garage. Or you drive forward into the yard and then reverse into the garage.
To drive forward into the yard and then curve to the right into the garage seems the yard is too narrow to me.
Thanks for the comment. We will mark the property over the weekend and see if the space is sufficient. If necessary, the garage door would have to be moved to the front, but we don't like that very much. However, it would make the required yard significantly smaller.
Do I see it correctly that the kitchen and garage face south, and the living and dining area face north??
Yes, correct. The garage is to be built on the right boundary because the (quite unattractive) garage of the neighbor also stands as a boundary construction there. We have also consciously decided on the kitchen in that location because people spend more time there during the day and we would like it to face the street.
