Why not ten, that would be much better here (?) The one-eyed man is king among the blind. I see the danger that your neighbor, because you have been planning for a while, looks up to you and takes your "Mondrian á la Pogo" floor plan attempts seriously or even as a model – Tetris floor plans with a zigzag hallway and a ten(!)-sided living room, mind you. linked you in post #2 to a planning thread by and her proposal from it, which to my recollection the realized version largely followed. All the "usual suspects" of semi-detached house builders show you floor plans that have been proven countless times to work and are well thought-out. Especially in the areas that turn into a dreadful struggle for you, you can check there how it is successfully solved (but also cannot be further narrowed). They routinely fit that into a floor area format of mostly about 6x12.5 without bay windows or “bay windows”. Kerstin’s proposal is seven point something by ten. Your building plot is 12m deep with 3m distance to the street. That means a 10m deep house could be shifted 2m downwards on the plan and then have 5m for parking spaces in front – how wide is the driveway allowed to be? The planning from the opening post would also work, but the cellar seems luxurious to me (do we know the heights of the property?). I would probably take the plan as is, only open the front door towards the meter cabinet instead of the cloakroom, and move the building services to the attic. What does the neighbor say about the cellar (assuming the property votes according to the cellar rule for a slab house)? – don’t forget: the co-cellarer has to build simultaneously or before the one without cellar. I suspect your other thread is obsolete in that respect, as I can hardly see any "living space need only in five years" here.10.5 is the current planning status, we are currently discussing 11m.
You cannot be "satisfied" with the inclusive planners of the construction companies / house manufacturers, because that is not their job. Especially with such a, let's say nicely, "low-margin" contract, they would probably also be scolded not to pamper you like a private patient. Nevertheless, she did a flawless job, albeit evasively, regarding the construction proposal from the opening post. What did you dislike so much that you prefer to personally venture onto the springboard as a non-swimmer? I see both this and Kerstin’s draft neutrally as wooden or stony to be equally good and basically equally buildable in terms of price. If there is already an exchange with the neighbor, then tell us especially how large the intersection / your agreement is.I must say, we are not particularly satisfied with the planner either. We get neither help with our wishes nor clear statements about what might simply not work.
