Whether the layout suits you personally or not was not my question either. I would like suggestions on how it might be made a bit more space-saving.

Have you ever tried to actually furnish the basement with cooking and living in the plan? I really can’t imagine how it could become more compact there. The layout with the playroom and strangely shaped children’s rooms also seems completely ill thought out to me. But since the questionnaire was filled out so incompletely, none of this is understandable. Three utility rooms plus storage room plus cellar? For what purpose?

Have I overlooked something or do the stairs from the ground floor and the upper floor not fit together at all?

Why storage room and utility room on the ground floor, you are building with a basement anyway. Is the construction partner also building with a basement?

The advanced entrance could also be omitted. This niche between the entrance and the garage in front of the bathroom created by the construction is also neither a nice nor practical solution but dead space.

The utility room in the basement is more of a technical room - we want a garden pool, and the necessary technology for water conditioning should go there next to the heating system. Why the basement - next to the technical room for the pool I want a proper workshop because I have many tools due to my profession. Additionally, we have dogs, so there is a basement entrance; a dog shower will be installed in the basement.
The utility room on the ground floor is also a "pantry." The storage room should serve as an extended wardrobe - later the guest toilet can be enlarged.
Try to separate the 1st floor and still access all rooms while keeping the ground floor layout unchanged. The 2nd floor will not be developed for now anyway - the layout here is "just a quick draft."

The stairs align vertically. I couldn’t come up with anything better - the house is quite narrow at the front on the ground floor because of the double garage.

The recessed entrance with wardrobe is intended as a dirt barrier - i.e., street shoes off before entering the living area.
